We’re inviting our member and partner businesses to be part of Business Unboxed, a celebration of local businesses running 12–23 October. 

There are three ways to get involved:

🔓 Open 

Open your doors to other businesses as part of the festival and show them what you do best. Hosting an event at your business can be in the form of a presentation, a workshop, behind-the-scenes tours, tastings, demonstrations, etc.

Business Unpacked events

Be.Bendigo will be running two full-day Business Unpacked events as part of the festival. These expo-style events will feature a mix of speakers, topics, presentations, workshops, and business booths, with opportunities for networking. 

🎤 Share 

Deliver a presentation or workshop at an Unpacked event.

Share your expertise in a ~45 minute presentation to a room of 35 people, or breakout with a small group of 6-9 people for a ~2-3 hour workshop. Be.Bendigo will be ticketing these events and attendees will be charged a modest ticketing fee.

📦 Showcase

Exhibit your business (expo style) during an Unpacked event.

Our Unpacked events are full days packed with presentations and workshops on different topics aimed at businesses. We’ll have 190cm x 190cm areas available for exhibiting what you do and meeting with businesses attending the sessions. 

Be.Bendigo Members/Partners: 

● Micro Business: $150 excl. GST 

● Small to Medium Business (under 20 staff): $250 excl. GST 

● Large Business (20+ staff): $400 excl. GST 

We’re looking for practical, engaging sessions that help businesses connect, learn and grow. Business Unboxed is about sharing knowledge, stories and expertise—not selling services. 

As part of a curated festival program, EOIs will be assessed on the quality of the proposal, relevance to the business community and the overall mix of topics and experiences across the festival.
