‘Soft Skills’ presented by Kendall McGrath & Womeni.s.e

Hear from Kendall McGrath, Director of Industry Solutions at Bendigo TAFE and a local panel of business women on the importance and relevance of 'Soft Skills' in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Join Bendigo TAFE and Womani.s.e as presenter Kendall McGrath, Director of Industry Development and a local panel of businesswomen discuss ‘Soft Skills: How to get ahead in an increasingly competitive landscape’.

It’s well recognised that technical skills alone are not enough to succeed in business. Commonly known as people or interpersonal skills, soft skills like negotiating, assertiveness, and maintaining relationships are key to a leader’s success.

A report published recently by Deloitte Access Economic forecasts that soft skill-intensive occupations will account for two-thirds of all jobs by 2030.

So, what can women in business do to build our understanding of soft skills and how can we build our competencies in this area?
