Love Your Local Reward Vouchers

The Initiative

Love Your Local Reward Vouchers are a trial initiative between Be Bendigo and City of Greater Bendigo, to test the potential of a localised ‘universal’ voucher that can be used at a variety of Greater Bendigo businesses.

The businesses who are listed below, have very kindly volunteered to be part of this process. Please read the terms and conditions carefully, and enjoy spending your reward!

Terms and Conditions

The Love Your Local Reward Voucher promotion (“the promotion”) is a joint initiative between Be. Bendigo and the City of Greater Bendigo (“the promotion providers”).

This promotion is classified as an employee reward scheme, where selected businesses will purchase reward vouchers from the promotion provider, as a reward for their employees. Reward vouchers can be redeemed at the approved participating Greater Bendigo businesses.

Participation in the promotion by both reward voucher purchasers, and by approved participating businesses is deemed acceptance of the promotion Terms and Conditions.

Promotional Period

Commences November 1, 2021 and vouchers are valid to be redeemed at participating businesses until 11.59pm on December 31, 2021.

Access to this promotion

This promotion is restricted to specific Be Bendigo members who have agreed to purchase Reward Vouchers as part of their employee reward program, and to support the trial of a multi-venue voucher program.

Reward Voucher Validity

Reward Vouchers are valid for redemption until the end of the promotional period. Unused rewards vouchers cannot be refunded or attributed to any transactions after the expiry date.

Reward Vouchers can only be redeemed at participating Greater Bendigo businesses, as listed on the website.
Reward Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new or different store voucher or be replaced after expiry and are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities.
All Reward Vouchers have been supplied as part of an employee reward scheme, and are not subject to the ACCC minimum 3 year validity period for standard Gift Cards.

​​Reward Vouchers are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, photocopied or tampered with in any way. Participating businesses reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any Reward Voucher that is deemed suspicious.

Using a Reward Voucher

Reward Voucher holders may present their voucher at any participating Greater Bendigo business as part, or all of a payment of purchase for goods or services.
If a purchase exceeds the value of the Reward Voucher, balance must be paid by cash, debit or credit card.
Reward Vouchers must be used in full, within one transaction, and cannot hold a remaining balance on the voucher.
If a product purchased using a Reward Voucher is returned, the balance will be credited to the purchaser via a store credit note or store voucher, specific to the individual participating business, and is to be redeemed against subsequent purchases.
Participating Greater Bendigo businesses may not limit the use of a Reward Voucher to specific times or specific products.
Participating Greater Bendigo businesses may not decrease or discount the value of the Reward Voucher in any manner, and recognise the value as the same as legal tender.

Unused vouchers

Any vouchers that have been unused by the closing date of the promotion, can be returned to Be Bendigo by the participating business for reimbursement. All refunds will be transferred to the purchasing business, and not to any specific individual or employee.

Program removal

Both approved Reward Voucher purchasers and businesses approved to redeem vouchers for goods and services who do not abide by the official redemption and remuneration processes, or who distribute vouchers to people other than their employees, may be removed from the program by the promotion provider at any time necessary without notice or refund.

Lost or stolen Reward Vouchers

Reward Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. If you suspect an unauthorised activity, please report the issue to Be Bendigo via, providing all details including employer name and reward voucher number.

The promotion providers reserve the right to cancel a Reward Voucher if deemed such action is necessary. If so, a replacement Reward Voucher of equivalent value may be provided, fraud in relation to a Reward Voucher is suspected.

No Waiver

Failure by the promotion providers to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Cancellation, Delay, Modification

If, for any reason the promotion providers are not capable of running the promotion as planned, the promotion provider reserves the right to cancel, terminate, delay, relocate, modify, refund or suspend any or all of the elements of the promotion, subject to written direction from any regulatory authority.

Force Majeure

The promotion providers will not be responsible for any act, omission, failure or delay by the promotion provider which is due to an act of God, riots, terrorism, storms, fire, labour or industrial dispute, strike or any other acts that are beyond the promotion providers reasonable control.
