Advocacy in Action: Bringing Regional Business to the Table

Be.Bendigo continues to actively represent and support our business community through a range of advocacy efforts, partnerships and initiatives designed to strengthen local enterprise and collaboration.

Recently, we represented the region at the Victorian Regional Chambers Alliance in Ballarat, where chambers from across regional Victoria came together to share insights, align on key issues and strengthen the collective voice of regional business.

We also celebrated the launch of our Impactful Leader Program, proudly sponsored by Fosterville Gold Mine and facilitated by Karissa Cameron of Lead with Purpose. The program empowers local leaders to drive meaningful change within their workplaces and communities.

Be.Bendigo joined the Maxsum Co-Pilot Workshop, gaining valuable insights into how businesses can continue to innovate and adapt in an evolving digital environment.

Here in Bendigo, we were honoured to attend a Civic Reception for Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, acknowledging the important role local business plays in shaping the social and economic fabric of our region.

We also hosted a roundtable with Premier Jacinta Allan and Deputy Speaker Maree Edwards, bringing together a diverse group of members and partners to discuss the current challenges and opportunities for regional business.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had many valuable conversations with members and partners, hearing directly about their priorities, challenges and successes. These insights continue to guide our advocacy and programs to ensure we’re championing the needs of Bendigo’s business community.

Behind the scenes, planning continues for Business Unboxed, our upcoming business festival in November. The festival will bring new opportunities for connection, learning and celebration across our vibrant business community.
