Bendigo UFS Pharmacies is pleased to launch ‘BUFS Nursing Care’, a dedicated nursing service now available to our valued members FREE of charge. This service expands our commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare for the Bendigo community.
This service provides members FREE access to ‘BUFS Nursing Care’. If you’re not a member, you can join for an annual fee of just $14 per year and immediately be eligible to access FREE ‘BUFS Nursing Care’ for all members of the household.
BUFS CEO Nicole Cox said, “Accessible and affordable community-based Nursing and Pharmacy services are now available again at BUFS, and we encourage community members to use this service. View Street Pharmacy is open daily from
7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and ‘BUFS Nursing Care’ alongside our ‘Pharmacist Professional Services’ will be intermixed across the 16 service hours per day offering more advanced health care such as vaccinations, wound care and administration of injections.”
Susan Randall, a long-term senior pharmacist and manager at BUFS, said, “Our ‘BUFS Nursing Care’ will initially be scheduled at View Street Pharmacy on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1 pm to 5 pm, Wednesdays from 4 pm to 9 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm. We will consider additional times once we gauge the demand. We also have a Nurse at our Health at Hargreaves Street Health Hub on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm offering additional services including childhood vaccinations”.
For over 150 years, BUFS Pharmacies has been dedicated to Bendigo’s health and well-being. Through the BUFS Nursing Care Service, we ensure our members enjoy reliable, affordable healthcare from a team they trust.
