Lauren Starr Artist

Lauren is a multi-award-winning photo media artist, including the winner of the national Bluethumb art prize in 2022.
Lauren’s work explores motherhood, femininity and their roles through time, with narrative and symbol-rich imagery. Her detailed and vibrant artworks are born from her abundant inner world and fuelled by history, literature, folklore, nature and spirituality.
Lauren’s artwork resides in both private and public collections, including Parliament House and the Bendigo Art Gallery.
Lauren creates from her regional hometown, Bendigo, and her work can be viewed by appointment.
