Celebrating Six Months of Success at Be.Bendigo

As we cross the halfway mark of 2024, it is time to reflect on everything we have achieved at Be.Bendigo. Our commitment to fostering business growth and community development in Bendigo has been unwavering, and the past six months have been a testament to that.

We kicked off the year with the launch of “Women Driving Positive Change”, Season 2 of our Bendigo Business Stories Podcast and recently released the first two episodes of Season 3 “Building a Resilient Workforce”, producing a total of 16 insightful episodes. These podcasts have been instrumental in sharing local stories, knowledge, sparking conversations, and inspiring our community.

Our network has grown stronger and more diverse with the addition of 50 new members. Each new member brings unique perspectives and experiences, enriching our community.

Networking has always been at the heart of Be.Bendigo. We have hosted three ‘After 5’ networking events at Bendigo East Bowling Club, The Terrace by Red Energy Arena and Symes BMW; two Partner Breakfasts, and an exclusive Partner Networking event at The Woodhouse Bar. These gatherings have been fantastic opportunities for our members and partners to connect, collaborate, and create lasting business relationships.

Our State of Economy Breakfast provided a comprehensive overview of the economic landscape, equipping our members with valuable insights to navigate their business strategies.

The Young Professional Network held two events, one fostering connections and providing an inclusive way to network at The Urban Cellar and another one featuring experts in Wellbeing and sharing valuable advice on how to be the best version of yourself. The YPN provides events and workshops to support the growth of our emerging leaders. Similarly, our HR Network also hosted two events, focusing on the latest trends and best practices in human resources.

This year, we have launched the 29th Edition of the Bendigo Business Excellence Awards. This program celebrated the innovation, achievements, and success of Bendigo businesses. Thank you to our 2024 category sponsors for their support.

In our continuous effort to improve and evolve, we also conducted our annual engagement survey. This initiative allowed us to collect valuable feedback from our members and partners, helping us understand their needs and expectations better.

Lastly, we concluded the final edition of the Rob Hunt Leadership Program. This program has been pivotal in shaping the leaders in our community, and while it’s the last edition, we are soon to announce our next leadership program.

As we look forward to the next six months, we are excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. We are confident that with our strong local community and shared vision, we will continue to thrive and make a positive impact on a vibrant Greater Bendigo.

Thank you to all our members and partners for being a part of this incredible journey.

The Team at Be.Bendigo.
